Automatic changeover for standby power
An automatic transfer switch manages the transfer between the normal electrical supply and a generator supply. FW Power can help specify the transfer equipment and generator interface for a standby installation. The switch rating and system arrangement must suit the actual site requirements.
Controls and integration
Generator starting signals, mains sensing, protection, interlocks and return-to-mains operation all form part of the design. We can scope cabling, controller configuration and commissioning alongside the generator installation. Complex systems and synchronised generators need a project-specific control design.
