Our published buying range is 6–2,500 kVA. This covers small commercial diesel sets through to large industrial standby generators. If you have a larger unit, a synchronised installation or a mixed fleet, contact us with the details so we can assess the opportunity.

We welcome enquiries for CAT / Caterpillar, FG Wilson, Atlas Copco, Bruno, Pramac, Cummins, SDMO / Kohler and other established generator brands. We also consider sets powered by Perkins, Baudouin, Doosan, Dorman, Lister Petter, Volvo Penta, John Deere, Deutz, Scania, MTU and other mainstream engines. An enquiry is assessed on the actual equipment and condition.

Send the details for assessment. Age alone does not describe a generator’s condition, and a low-hours standby set can be different from a heavily used site machine. Tell us about starting problems, damage, missing parts or known faults. Non-running and incomplete generators are considered individually; purchase is not guaranteed.

Yes. We welcome enquiries from demolition contractors, facilities management companies, construction businesses and authorised agents acting for the equipment owner. Include the site programme, access restrictions, isolation status and the date the generator needs to leave. We can also review several assets together.

We can discuss collection and generator decommissioning or removal as part of the proposed purchase. Tell us whether the set is outdoors, in a plant room, on a roof or in a container, and whether lifting access is available. The scope, responsibilities, costs and timing must be agreed for the particular site.

There is no reliable single price per kVA. An assessment considers make and model, output, age, operating hours, condition, service records, completeness and demand for that specification. Transport, lifting and removal requirements also affect the overall proposal. Photographs and accurate details help us give a more useful assessment.

You can still enquire. Photograph the generator, its nameplate, engine plate and controller display if these are safely accessible. Mark unknown details as “not known” instead of guessing. We can use the available information to identify the set and ask for anything else we need.

Yes, you can offer several generators in one enquiry. Give a make, model, rating, hours and location for each unit, or attach a stock list to your email. This is useful for hire fleet changes, construction projects, data centre upgrades and redundant power generation sites.

Yes. Tell us you are considering part exchange and describe the replacement capacity and application you need. We can discuss a new or used generator alongside the assessment of your existing equipment. The equipment, availability and commercial terms are confirmed in the individual proposal.

Include details and photographs of associated fuel tanks, automatic transfer switches, control panels, synchronising equipment and switchgear. Identify what belongs to the generator package and what must remain on site. We will confirm which items are included in any offer.

No. Contact us while the equipment is still installed if that is its current condition. Tell us whether it remains in service and describe the proposed shutdown date. Electrical isolation, disconnection, fuel work and lifting need an agreed plan and appropriately competent people.

Payment and collection arrangements are confirmed when the purchase is agreed, following any required inspection and paperwork. If your demolition or construction programme has a fixed deadline, include it at the first enquiry so we can assess a workable schedule.
