Know how your generator performs under load
FW Power provides load bank testing for new and used diesel generators and installed standby power systems. A load bank allows the generator to be exercised under a controlled electrical load, helping assess its operation beyond an unloaded start and run.
What a test can assess
A planned test can check load acceptance, voltage and frequency behaviour, cooling performance and alarms while the generator supplies an agreed load. The test arrangement, load steps and duration depend on the equipment, its rating and the purpose of the test. Manufacturer limits must be observed.
Testing as part of preparation or maintenance
We load test used generators as part of preparation before dispatch. Owners can also arrange testing alongside a service or as a separate visit. Discuss witness testing and available test records with our team when arranging the work.
