That was certainly the case with FWC003, our 2024 Shenton PHG1500Pe acoustic diesel generator. Rated at 1360 kVA prime and 1500 kVA standby, this substantial Perkins-powered set called for a real team effort around its logistics.

Moving a generator of this scale takes planning, communication and attention to detail. The machinery is only one part of the job. The arrangements around loading, handling and transport matter just as much.
For TEAM FWPG, the effort around FWC003 demonstrated the value of pulling together. Everyone involved had a part to play, and the willingness to support one another helped keep the logistics on track.

The generator at the centre of the effort
FWC003 combines a Perkins 4012-46TWG3A V12 diesel engine with a Stamford S6L1D-H41 alternator, housed in a Shenton acoustic enclosure.
